Zeena the Small Crochet Witch Doll

Small Crochet Witch

Zeena, the mini crochet witch doll, is the newest member of our Kozu Palm Pals series of mini crochet dolls! With Halloween approaching, we wanted to add Halloween amigurumi to our collection. So what better way than to give our dolls a costume for trick-or-treating!

We were thinking about what costume make and we decided that we had to crochet a small witch doll! I love little witches! But, to be honest, as a kid, I really didn’t. I think I was traumatised from the bad witch in the Wizard of Oz (and those scary monkeys!). But since reading Harry Potter, I love imagining this underground world of witches and wizards that are just like us – except that they can use spells to clean up the house, instead of a vaccuum cleaner. lol.

So meet Zeena the mini crochet witch. In case you were wondering, she is a good witch. She is very powerful but this tiny amigurumi witch uses her powers for good! Her favourite spell? The kindness spell that let’s her do random acts of kindness throughout the world. So, while she may not be the scariest Halloween amigurumi, our tiny crochet witch doll may just be the cutest! At 4.5 inches tall (without the hat), she works up really fast, is easy to make, and is oh so cute! You can pair her with our cute little crochet vampire or our adorable crochet mummy for adorable Halloween amigurumi trio!

About this Mini Crochet Witch Pattern

Zeena the small amigurumi witch doll is approximately 4.5 inches tall. We made her with DK yarn and a 2.5 mm hook – but any yarn with the relevant hook will do. She’s commonly been crocheted using worsted weight yarn and just comes out slightly larger. If you wanted to crochet a larger witch doll, you could try her in chunky yarn!

This witch doll has the same body as all of our Kozu Palm Pals and so her hair cap can be swapped with any of the other dolls in the mini amigurumi dolls series.

She is part of our crochet dress up dolls series, and so her dress and hat are both removable. So she can have an extensive wardrobe to wear, once Halloween is over. Or you could even sew the crochet witch hat onto her head, attach at keychain ring, and you have a cute Halloween crochet keychain.
