Amigurumi Girl and Boy Graduation Dolls

Introducing our new set of crochet graduation dolls for both girls and boys from our Kozu Palm Pals mini crochet doll series. Today was Kozu’s elementary school graduation (I can’t believe he’s going to be in Middle School!). Graduations make me so emotional. Play Pomp and Circumstance and I’m a puddle! I wanted to make him something special – so of course I had to crochet him a graduation doll (with a small crochet guitar, since we was going to be playing at the ceremony).

These crochet dolls are part of our Kozu Palm Pals series of mini crochet dolls. These mini graduation dolls are not only adorable but also highly customizable. You can crochet them to make a little mini me graduation doll of the graduate. You can substitute the hair cap and clothes from any of the other crochet dolls in the series. You may also choose to crochet the graduation regalia in the school colours of the graduate to match their cap and gown.

These adorable amigurumi graduation dolls stand at just 4.5 inches tall and can be whipped up in a mere two hours. Whether you’re celebrating a high school graduation, college graduation, or any other academic milestone, these amigurumi graduation dolls make for meaningful and memorable gifts. With their petite size, quick creation time, and customizable features, they are the ideal solution last-minute quick graduation presents.

So, grab your crochet hook, select your favorite yarn colors, and let your creativity soar! Prepare to bring smiles and warm congratulations to the graduates in your life!

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I make customised graduation dolls to look like the recipient?

Because the graduation dolls are part of the Kozu Palm Pals series of crochet dolls, you can use the patterns for clothes for any of the other dolls in the series to make it match your recipient. Please note, however, that if you choose clothes from our crochet dress up dolls, you will need to see if the graduation gown fits over the outfit. If not, you can simply use a bigger hook in crocheting the graduation gown so that it fits.

You can also customise the colours to match the graduation regalia of the school that your recipient is graduation from. For Kozu’s doll, I crocheted him a green graduation cap and gown with a golden tassle because his school colours are green and gold. The possibilities are endless so have fun with it!

How can I crochet a bigger graduation doll?

To increase the size of your doll, you can use the same pattern with a thicker yarn and a larger hook. We have seen our Kozu Palm Pals crocheted using bulky yarn and they look super cute!

How long does it take to crochet these graduation dolls?

These graduation dolls can be crocheted in approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on your personal speed. They whip up really fast and are perfect as a last minute crochet graduation gift idea!

How can I crochet graduation cake toppers?

These dolls would make adorable crochet cake toppers for a graduation cake. Simply insert a wooden skewer into the bottom of your doll and insert it into the cake. The best part? Once the graduation party is over, you can remove the skewers and gift it to the graduate as a memorable keepsake.
